Almost There

Trying to keep the launch date for Avalon Found to June 4th. It sometimes seems like I am herding cats. I assume this is the joy of self-publishing. So many hats to wear and things that must be done prior.

I am happy with the cover; the artwork and the font are exactly what I had pictured in my mind when I started this project. I am formatting the E-Book and the paperback, getting those ready for prime time. The first proof copy of the book was done in a matte finish and the text was too small. With the second proof copy, I ordered it in glossy and fixed the text size. Lots of back and forth between the matte and glossy but decided on the glossy finish for now.

I do wish to thank all of my beta readers for your input and helping find the missing typos. I look forward to reading yours and the advanced readers teams Amazon reviews once the book is published.

Once I push the publish button, I will need to see how many paperbacks I can afford to order for myself. I’ll cross that road when I get there.
